Vic Patel

CEO & President 

Area Director of Operations for San Marcos Region

Director of Revenue


Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company and providing it with the guidance and direction needed in order for the company to surpass its guests, associates, property owners and investor expectations.


Today, Vic has an interest in 4 hotels, with 2 additional hotels under development. Vic has overseen 2 hotel conversions and 5 hotel openings. He is responsible for all new hotel developments for the company for licensing to hotels opening. On the management side, Vic has twelve years of management experience. His primary focus areas include revenue maximization, hotel profitability, brand standard compliance as well as guest and associate satisfaction.


Vic is the current Treasurer of the San Marcos CVB, member of the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association, the San Marcos Chamber, Texas State University Bobcat Club, and the AH&LA. Vic was also the proud recipient of the City of San Marcos "Shining Star Under 40" award in 2012.

Kishor Patel

CFO / Chief Financial Officer


Kishor Patel, also known as Ken, is the Founder and CFO of Haven Hospitality Group LLC. Ken, began his hospitality career in 1976, Building his first hotel in 1980 in Oklahoma. Today, Ken has interest in nine hotels, having developed, or purchased over 19 hotels throughout his career. An entrepreneur at heart, Ken has become a successful ground-up developer, owner, and manager of premium brand hotels. His aptitude for operating hotels in niche markets has played a crucial role in the success and remarkable growth of this company.


Other development projects Ken has been involved in over the years include a shopping center, several gas stations, several custom homes and 125 unit exclusive residential development.


As CFO of Haven Management Services, Ken maintains oversight over financing, budgeting, tax structuring, and risk management. Additionally, Mr. Patel governs the hotel investment acquisitions for the Company, as well as investor relations.

Anil Patel

Area Director of Operations for New Braunfels Region


Anil has over 22 years of Management experience in the hospitality industry. With Haven Management Services LLC., Anil acts as the Area Director of Operations for the New Braunfels market. Currently, he oversees all day to day operations of the Hampton Inn & Suites and Baymont Inn & Suites. Additionally, he maintains management over budgeting, tax structuring and risk management.


In addition to his current responsibilities, he is helping to expand Haven Management Services LLC. into additional markets.

John Salazar

Regional Director of Sales San Marcos Region


John recently joined Haven Management Services obtaining a Sales & Advertising degree from Texas State University. He started his career in the hospitality industry as a front desk agent and social media marketing intern at the Candlewood Suites in San Marcos, Texas. Later he transitioned to the Director of Sales role at the Candlewood Suites in San Marcos.


At Haven Management Services, John serves as Regional Director of Sales, offering sales support to the managed hotels in the San Marcos area. With the ability to identify and implement strategies and build strong relationships, he has been able to grow market share & increase revenue.  

Amy Marek

Operations Support


Amy Marek as over 14 years of Management experience in the hospitality industry. At Haven Management Services LLC., Amy Marek has the proud rank of being oldest employee at the Company with over 11 years of service. 


In her current role, Amy provides operations support to the Haven team with a focus on the San Marcos market. She also works in Sales & Marketing at the Country Inn & Suites, helping to continue grow sales, and effectively prepare for trade shows and meetings. 

Bintu Patel

Bookkeeper of Finance San Marcos Region


Bintu Patel is bookkeeper of Finance for San Marcos area.


In her current role, she is responsible for the day-to-day recordings of financial transactions for the managed portfolio according to company standards of operation procedures.


Additional responsibilities include daily deposits and reconciliation of purchases, sale receipts, and payments.
